ONLY 10K MILES / LOW MILEAGE / Following a complete redesign in 2011, the Hyundai Elantra returns largely unchanged for 2012, save for several trim modifications. The base GLS model now has air conditioning, cruise control and a telescopic steering wheel all standard on automatic-equipped versions, and all optional with manual transmission. Navigation is no longer available on the GLS, but is still optional on the Limited. The Hyundai Elantra is no longer just an affordable alternative to the Honda Civic, it aims to match, and in some ways, beat it. For 2012, the Elantra features a powerful and very efficient engine and a choice of two 6-speed transmissions. With either transmission option, the Elantra is capable of an amazing-for-any-class 40 mpg on the highway.
